Henry at One Month Old

Henry is one month old today and I can not believe I am typing this, where has this month gone? Well one thing is for certain it has been the most special and perfect month. I feel as though I am in a dream world, how can life be this good?

The past month we have all been finding out feet as a family of four and my little man has fitted in perfectly. He has been very kind to us and is such an "easy" baby. Rarely whinges, feeds and sleeps well. It really has all gone swimmingly! So much so I'm just waiting for that all to change haha! There isn't a lot to update at the moment, he sleeps, feeds, poops, looks around at the world for a little while then repeats. Its a hard life as a one month old!

What I have noticed is how much he loves to look at his daddy and his sister. If he can hear them he will often try and look for them, especially his daddy. He always looks adoringly at him which is so, so lovely. One of the worries I had with breastfeeding is whether Jamie would feel left out, he is such a hands on daddy and I think he misses helping out with the feeding. However, it doesn't matter to Henry. He definitely loves his dadda.

I haven't had Henry weighed in nearly two weeks, but last time we did he was back up to birth weight (8lb 11oz). To me he looks like he has grown a lot, he is so flipping long (totally like his dad). He is in between sizes, first size seems snug in length so more often than not he is in 0-3 clothes even though they're still a little long.

Henry, you are loved by everyone that meets you, we couldn't be prouder to be your Mummy and Daddy. Lets see what the next month brings. We love you lots xxx
