Sound Bath Recommendations in Norfolk & Suffolk (My Favourite Practitioners)
If youre looking for a sound bath in the Norfolk & Suffolk area, this post is for you.
I try to book a sound bath at least once a month (Friday evenings are my favourite reset after a busy week), and over time I’ve found a few practitioners and venues that I keep coming back to. Each one has a different style and energy, so if you’ve tried one sound bath and it wasn’t quite for you, its worth trying a different offering.
Quick note: This is based on my personal experience. Offerings, schedules and locations can change, so always check the latest details when booking.

Sound & Ground (Brandon/Thetford) forest sound baths with a truly special setting
Website: https://soundandground.co.uk/
Sound & Ground is one of the most memorable sound bath experiences I’ve had locally. She creates a really special setting in Thetford Forest, and it feels like a proper escape from everyday life.
What I love:
- The location: being in/near the forest adds an extra layer of calm
- Bird Song Sound Bath: this one is a favourite of mineso soothing and grounding
- Unique options: she also offers a hammock sound bath and sessions outdoors under the trees
- Her energy: she has a lovely, calming presence that makes you feel safe and settled
- Guided meditation: often included, which helps me switch off quickly
- The little touches: a warm herbal tea and dark chocolate afterwards (honestly, perfection)
Best for: anyone who loves nature, wants something a bit different, or wants a sound bath that feels like a full experience rather than just a session.
Soothe the Soul (Sarah at The Space, Burston) relaxed, no judgement, deeply moving

Sarahs sessions at The Space in Burston are the kind of sound bath you can walk into exactly as you aretired, overwhelmed, emotional, frazzledand feel completely welcomed.
What I love:
- No-judgement vibe: it’s relaxed and gentle, with zero pressure to do anything.
- Incredible soundscape: the layers of sound are beautiful
- Deeply moving: I often find this one emotional in the best waylike a release
Best for: if youre feeling burnt out or you want a soft landing and a supportive space.

Notley Yoga (Gong Bath at Fressingfield Chapel Hall Arts Centre): An authentic, powerful gong journey
Booking page: https://notleyyoga.co.uk/book-a-gong-bath/
This gong bath at Fressingfield Chapel Hall Arts Centre (with Leigh) feels very authentic and intentionally led. It’s a different vibe to a super-gentle sound bath, more like you’re being taken on a journey.
What I love:
- The opening: she starts with humming/chanting, which helps you drop in quickly
- The gongs: genuinely incredible. I felt like I’d gone to another world.
- The overall feel: powerful, immersive, and memorable
Best for: if you love gongs, want something immersive, or you’re curious about a more ‘journey-like’ sound experience.
