The Questions
1) Describe yourself in 5 words
Smiley, hot headed, geeky, loveable, family-orientated
2) Why did you decide to start blogging?
I loved reading loads of blogs, I liked the fact you could have a nice and flexible way of documenting life and the ability to share likes and dislikes within a community. When I feel pregnant with Darcie I knew that I wanted to document my experience and from there it has just developed.
3) How did you choose the name of your blog and why?
Well I'm a mummy to a Burgess! I'm not officially Burgess yet, but come the 2nd of August I will be!
4) Tell us something about yourself that you think might surprise us!
Im struggling for this one, I'm clearly not that interesting! When I was a teen was very much into Dancing, ballet, tap, jazz, disco & street. I danced all over the country and even in Disney Land Paris. But when I was 16 I got a really bad condition with my knee that meant every time I danced my knee would swell. I had to give it up to try and allow my knee to improve. Which luckily it has! I really hope to go back to dancing, especially tap. I still tap away if I'm sat at a desk or I'm in the supermarket!
5) What is your favourite and least favourite thing about blogging?
My favourite thing is the community feel blogging brings, I love to read and reply to comments. I also love the whole processes of blogging, the photography, editing, writing and then seeing the finished result. It's very satisfying.
The least favourite thing about blogging? It can be hard work - not that that's a bad thing though. I just wish I could have a little bit more time to be able get my blog and content exactly how I want it. Being a full time working mum and trying to run my own blog can be tricky at times.
