Monochrome Bathroom Ideas

Ok, so I'm a little late to the monochrome fan club. But more and more recently I have become drawn the simplistic beauty of monochrome. I had to admit, I still like of splash of colour here and there, but I think that is another reason I'm seemingly loving monochrome so much more - it makes those pop of colours even more eye-catching. So whilst I have been thinking of monochrome, I looked at perhaps making our bathroom more in this style adding it to the to-do list I mentioned in the Home Sweet Home Tag in did over on my YouTube channel.

Lottie Changing bag from Koo-di | Review

I have always been a little bit in love with bags. It doesn't matter what size you are a bag will always fit. As I have grown, my love of bags dwindled because money had to be spent elsewhere, like bills! Then, when I became a mother I found I was falling back in love with bags, changing bags and so the obsession was reignited once more.

For a busy mum having a bag that is well organised and functional is an absolute necessity. You don't want to be wrestling with a wriggly baby whilst changing a poop explosion for the third time that day, and then have to rummage around to find a nappy at the bottom of your bag. That never ends well. So when I had the opportunity to review the Lottie changing bag from Koo-di, I was thrilled.

A Mothers Love

The love I have for my children can sometimes knock me off my feet. Literally. An all consuming love that you just can't quite describe, but all mums will instantly relate and no words are needed. You may have a dog/pet that you adore. Love even. But it simply does not compare to that of a child.

It's the kind of love that makes you question everything in life. Are you being too strict, not strict enough? Are they eating the right foods, getting enough sleep, is that rash something sinister? The worries of a mum are never ending and I'm sure even as they grow these worries never end.

Packing Tips for a Family Villa Holiday

Villa Holidays are becoming a more popular choice amongst families. Having your own space, meal times (no rush to get down in time for breakfast), and often your own pool really appeals to parents. Whilst we have stayed in hotels with the children before, a cottage or villa would always be my number one choice.

So if you're thinking of having a villa holiday, what should you be packing?

Our weaning journey so far

Our weaning journey, so far, has been relatively straightforward. Memories of early weaning with my daughter always played on my mind. I found the whole processes very stressful. So this time around, I was determined to make the process an enjoyable one. Not to get too worked up and educate myself so I would be filled with confidence whilst weaning my son Henry.

Boy's Gift Guide Age 0-7

Before I had Henry I knew very little about the world of boys. When I was first pregnant I was surrounded by a sea of pretty pink girly things when we found out we were expecting a girl. I was comforted in a way because I knew girls. Birthday's and Christmas's have always been easy when buying for a girl. Be it clothes, dolls, craft items, cuddly toys - I was in my comfort zone. So when I had Henry, although I was blown away with happiness, I was entering new territory.

I have always found boy's difficult to buy for, be it for my hubby, Dad or brother, I have always ended up asking them what they would like. Because for me, I'm pretty clueless. Chatting with other mum's of boy's it would appear I'm not alone, so here are a few gift idea's for the little guy's of your lives from 0 through to 7.
